Duke Nukem Forever is Official - Finally

As many of you know Duke Nukem Forever has been in production for quite some time now and has been on multuiple hiatuses throughout its development, but it has finally been made official. The game is set to be coming out on Xbox 360, PS3, and PC.

FFXIV Open Beta

As some of you may be aware the official open beta launched just the other day, and unfortunately registration was temporarily disabled due to the amount of traffic the servers were getting. Good news though! The registration has been re-opened, if you are at all interested in playing then go register and start downloading! The beta will be running for the next few weeks until the games launch (Sep 22nd for limited edition buyers and Sep 30th for everyone else). I haven't had a chance to startup the client and make my character yet but hopefully I can see a few of you guys in there.

In order to register you will need a valid Square Enix account, which is free, you can register one at the following link:

Here is a link to the beta registration, just scroll to the bottom and you will see the "Apply" button:

Why XBox 360

Recently, a friend of mine offered to get me an Xbox 360 for my Xmas if I want it. Heres the thing though: I've been a big PS3 user since the get go. I thought I'd bring this up to you guys, seeing how most of you have one.... but whats cool about the XBox 360? Is it just because a mjority of people have it? I just don't understand, I guess.

But if any of ya have time, I'd appreciate giving me your thoughts on why the Xbox is so good despite its shortcomings (That red light of death issue for instance.)

Assassin's Creed Brotherhoood

Ok so I�ve been going back and forth for a while now on what I think of this game. I loved AC2 and when I first heard about brotherhood I thought it was just a full priced expansion pack for the series, but recently I've starting to think otherwise. I still don't know what to think about the multiplayer portion of the game, but the single player mode looks really cool with the way you can train assassin's and liberate the city. After watching this video I�m leaning towards getting it when it comes out.

What do you guys think of the game?

DC Universe excitement

I'm not huge into the MMO scene, but I'd be lying if I said the DC Universe Game coming out didn't peak my interest. Kick ass trailer's aside, the ability to create a supervillian or hero in the DC universe, and interact with the classic characters sounds awesome! I could work for Lex Luthor and kill Superman! I could join Batman and protect Gotham City!

But I'm curious is anyone else excited about this game, or am I an Island to myself?
